I typically have had bad experiences at dentist offices, and was definitely not feeling the best going in today, but everyone was really accommodating and kind, they made sure i was comfortable and really helped make me not fearful for the dentist. I had my cleaning appointment at Inspire Dental on August 28, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Amanda at the front desk greeted me warmly and was very accommodating, which set a relaxed tone right away.
I especially want to recognize my hygienist, Jessica. She was very gentle throughout the cleaning and never rushed, taking the time to make sure every area was properly cleaned. What I appreciated most was that she explained what she was doing as she went and why each step mattered. It made me feel more comfortable and gave me a better understanding of my own dental health. I have been coming here for 16 years, for cleanings and fillings, and I have always had a great experience. My hygienist Jessica and Dr Chou have been especially kind to me but the entire staff team have been welcoming, knowledgeable and supportive to me! Jessica did my most recent cleaning and was very gentle and resourceful giving me advice and answering any questions I had. They gave me a little gift after my visit, which was very thoughtful. .UPDATE: I’ve been going here for almost a year now to have various dental work completed. I needed quite a bit done since I hadn’t gone to the dentist as much as I should have over the last few years due to COVID. Today my set of fillings were completed and the team here continues to be efficient and caring as ever. Dr. Kassam and Camilla finished off my fillings without any pain and minimal discomfort, and finished earlier than expected! The level of quality and consistency here is admirable.
Original Review: Went in for today for my first set of fillings with Dr. Kassam and Danielle, and the whole experience could not have gone any better. From start to finish, I did not feel any pain at all. They did their utmost to keep me comfortable and informed, which I greatly appreciate. The numbing, drilling, and filling were all done painlessly and much faster than I anticipated. Before I knew it, the appointment was over, and Dr. Kassam was showing me the completed work. During the appointment, pictures were taken of the affected teeth, so that I could more closely see the results of the work that had been completed. The level of transparency and communication that I experienced today inspire a great degree of confidence in any future work there that I will need to do.

My family have been going to Inspire Port Moody for years (since before the pandemic), and I have recently completed a 1yr Invisalign treatment with amazing results. I also had a tricky cavity that dentists elsewhere said they couldn't fix that was efficiently filled here without any complications.

I heard about Inspire Dental when they gave out some free mouth Guards for Port Moody lacrosse quite a few years back, I ended up getting one and right from the get-go I had a great experience. As I was just aging out of my childrens dental office, my parents and I knew right away this would be the one that I would go too! Staff are amazingly friendly and genuine. Hygienists and dentists really care for me, and make the dental office feel like home. I have the best time chatting with the hygenists and updating them with whats new in my life and how things are going. The office is extremely tidy and bright, and in a great area (with a great view!). Will continue to go here for as long as I possibly can.

You can trust that the team at Inspire Dental take your wishes and hopes as serious as you. I came to Dr. Chou in late '25 hoping to get my smile fixed before my wedding in April '26. Timeline was a concern but the team got it done - a few months of invisalign and a set of new veneers/crowns and I am very happy with my new smile! The aftercare support has been great and it shows real care on the part of the dental team.

First and foremost, I was scrambling to find a dental practice that could take me on a emergency basis for an extraction, and this was the only practice that was able to take me on such short notice. My dental team consisted of Dr. Kassam, Dr. Hu, and Akshita. The entire experience was 5 stars. No pain, no anxiety, and was a very pleasant experience to say the least. The team was extremely accommodating through the entire process and fully informative. They addressed all my concerns and questions in it's entirety. Hands down best dental experience to date. I am very grateful for their service and true 5 star treatment hands down. I will be recommending this practice to everyone I know. Dr. Hu & her dental assistant Chi were incredible! An old filling I had inserted overseas fell out a few months ago and an extremely deep cavity started forming—causing immense pain—and the team at Inspire Dental Group were able to fit me in on very short notice to have it assessed, cleaned & repaired. From the administrative staff to the 2 dentists that saw me, I left their office today a very happy and grateful woman! They were kind, gentle, and went above and beyond to ensure comfort and clear communication.
It’s been hard to find a dentist since moving here almost 7 years ago, but it’s safe to say I have a home dental office now.

I am really upset with their lack of communication! I am always early, they are always late, hard to book, too many people go there, they never told me about the construction happening there, they certainly won’t pay for your parking, and they have hygienists that make me scream in pain! Terrible Customer Service they make me complain in front of people in the lobby! Then the lady said oh I can’t help you. I’m new here. You’re treated like a number and a dollar for them.

Dr. Bruce Chou and his team are rockstars! I had an incredibly difficult procedure that required drilling through teeth that was a millimetre or such away from nerve but Dr. Chou managed to get me through the procedure efficiently and without any pain. They say most people dread seeing their dentists, but you can put those fears away with Bruce as he is a dentist that you can trust!

If you’re looking for the best in dentistry you must go to Inspire Dental. I was referred to them by a friend after my previous dental clinic had left me wanting for more. Booking an appointment for my first assessment was the best thing I ever did.
They are conveniently located in Port Moody with loads of parking available underground. Their office has gorgeous views and is always very clean and organized.
The ladies at front reception are truly some of the sweetest people you will meet. Melissa and Daniella will take care of you and get all your appointments/billing sorted with a smile.
Upon my first visit I was seen by Dr.Kang who has now become my regular dentist. I expressed my goals of getting veneers on my two front teeth as I had chipped them when I was a child. He laid out a plan that would transform my smile. After completing my Invisalign treatment and getting my veneers I can FINALLY feel confident with my smile!
The whole process was spread out and presented in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming, yet it was done fast and efficiently. Dr.Kang was very detailed in explaining every step and answering any questions I had with the utmost patience and kindness. Throughout the whole thing I felt very comfortable, and the results were outstanding. My teeth are aligned, my veneers look so natural and blend in seamlessly with my other teeth, truly a work well done and perfectly executed.
I can’t thank Dr.Kang enough, as well as the dental assistants/hygenists, Natalie, Chi, Leona (I wish I knew all their names because I’m sure I’m missing a few and they are all so wonderful).
I look forward to being a patient of Dr.Kang and the Inspire Dental team for years to come. It should come as no surprise that my husband and daughter have now switched over to Inspire Dental as well, and I highly recommend anyone looking for a trusted, high caliber clinic to do the same.

Since I’ve been coming to Inspire Dental, my teeth and gums is just getting healthier and healthier each visit. I am very glad I chose the right and perfect dental clinic for me. Aside from the wonderful team, the place is phenomenal. How would you feel a dental clinic where you see a beautiful view from your seat. On top of that, hearing an honest comment from the team, (Doctor & hygienist) is something I am grateful for. It’s very valuable. I believed, it is our job to take care of ourselves. Finding the right dental clinic makes it perfect. I would highly recommend Inspire Dental.

I recently went to inspire to have a new retainer made and it was such a smooth experience. The admin staff, Dani, worked with me to find a time that fit my schedule and was able to get me an appointment in a timely manner. When I arrived they had already got a determination from my insurance on what was covered and took care of the paperwork side of things. The appointment itself was quick and efficient!

I had a pretty intense fear of dentists and a pretty bad set of teeth going into my first visit at Inspire, and Dr Kang and staff did an outstanding job at both talking me through what steps would need to happen and making me comfortable with coming in for the work that needed to be done.
After about a dozen visits they helped to fit me with 6 crowns, fill 4 or 5 cavities, and remove an infected wisdom tooth. At no point in any of my visits was I worried about not understanding what was happening or in discomfort, the Dr and the assistants are extremely communicative and check in on if you're ok.
The front end staff are outstandingly kind and happy to help answer any questions, get appointments booked in without any fuss, and explain costs and coverage. I'm extremely happy to have found this place, as it likely saved me from a having toothless near future

Dr. Chou is an excellent dentist. He is meticulous in his work. He explains things well and i trust him. Assistants Lindsay and Chi were very helpful in the crown work done in my appointment. I would not hesitant to recommend this clinic.

I got to the dental office, the room was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Their CDA, Princess Chi-Ya Su the 3d greeted me and we went into op room 2.
The first thing I noticed was how clean their rooms were. I thought it may have been too good to be true. I waited until they stepped outside, pulling out my portable microscope. Nothing, it was clean.
They led me into the next room. Emma wanted to x-ray me. I've seen this in Marvel movies, so I adamantly refused to wear the lead bib. Emma wore me down with kindness, so I finally put it on. My third arm will have to wait.
Dr. Chou met me in the third room. Handsome fella that complimented me on my gums. I blushed as he asked how my flossing situation was. "Great" I lied, before he removed a piece of last night's chicken. This man was too clever for trickery.
They noticed my grinding was up and offered a Bite plane. Then Emma pulled out some new 3D scanning device. She complimented me on my ability to be scanned. "Thanks, I've been 3D before" I replied.
The whole experience felt Natural and welcoming. I've written a complaint to google, because I believe this place should have the ability to give an extra star. This is 6 star service. 10/10 would get teeth pulled here.

Dr. Bruce Chou provided exceptional care during my wife’s and my second implant treatment at Inspire Dental. His professionalism, expertise, and clear communication made the experience smooth and stress-free. We truly appreciate his treatment of me and wife.
This time, my wife and I are still a little inconvenient in daily chewing because we have been missing teeth for a while!
In the long run, we were also worried that more dental problems would occur, which would cost more time and money to deal with, so we turned to Dr. Inspire Zhou, whom we trust.
After the examination, Dr. Zhou explained it to us in detail and provided us with some plans for our reference. Finally, my wife and I decided on dental implants.
Compared with my dental implant experience in Taiwan, Dr. Zhou's treatment process is more advanced and complete, and the treatment time is more efficient!
It is worth recommending such a responsible clinic and doctor to friends who are in need like me.

Everyone from this clinic is welcoming and friendly! My family of five are all seeing Dr Bruce Chou, he helped my wife and I getting our invisalign done. Dr Chou is professional, friendly and approachable. The hygienists are friendly and detail oriented, they listen to my concerns and feedbacks. I don’t need to drag my feet visiting my dentist like I used to be any more!

All staff at Inspire Dental are super friendly! Not only Dr Bruce is very diligent in his work but also he gives off a super friendly vibe which calmed all my nerves. The assistant of Dr Bruce, Chi, was also very patient and thoughtful in making my visit go as smoothly as possible!

My dentist that I had been going to my whole life retired, so I decided to go to Inspire for two reasons, my husband is a patient there, and they are located within walking distance to my home. Not only does Inspire have the best views in town, they are all very professional, and friendly, from the receptionists, to the hygienist's, as well as the dentists!

I recently joined Inspire Dental Port Moody and have been absolutely delighted by their professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness. The moment a patient walks in: they are welcomed with positivity and smiles (the girls at Reception are superb!) and very well taken care of.
Dr. Justin Ha is an excellent professional and individual, he always makes sure that his patients are provided with fine details to be able to take informed decisions. He calmly answers all questions, explains and elaborates. Patients' comfort and peace of mind is top priority. Thank you, Dr. Ha!
The dental hygienist Ian and assistant Megan are also terrific! We always have a small chat prior to treatment and every time I go to Inspire Dental, I anticipate a lovely conversation, magnificent attitude and memorable experience - wow, true magic is when a dental treatment becomes utterly enjoyable! I had the most amazing dental experience today with Dr. Ha and Megan. They were both very kind and friendly and did the work smoothly and stress free. There was almost no pain and it was a two hour filling appointment so that's amazing. All the staff at the Port Moody office are always super kind and easy to work with and I'm so grateful that they are in my neighbourhood. I recommend them to everyone!

Excellent dental care by Dr. Chou and team. There's a lot to like about this dental office. The front staffs are pleasant and quick with responses and submissions. The two hygienists I've seen, Amy and Ian, are both super on point and thorough with cleaning and I always leave with my teeth feeling nice and fresh. Dr.Chou also took care of couple issues I've had. All in all, a great dental practice. Oh and the view from the chair is actually quite nice.

Best Dentist experience I have ever had. My family all are patients with Inspire, and I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a new Dentist. The office is beautiful, with windows facing the mountains, the staff are excellent and highly competent, and they do not push unnecessary treatment on you.

This clinic is fantastic, especially because of Dr. Chou. He’s super kind, really knowledgeable, and always makes each visit comfortable. The whole team is great, but Dr. Chou truly stands out. I definitely recommend him for any dental work you need!

I have no words to describe the great experience I had at Inspire dental (Port Moody). It was an emergency situation and since the first contact and the assistance of Melissa, and all the team incredibly friendly and professional. Dr. Ha was amazing providing me all the options I had, and explaining the pros and cons of all situations. Keiran, also gave me all assistance I needed. In the end I left with a new tooth, happy and with absolutely zero pain, showing how knowledgeable and skilled Dr. Ha is. Highly recommend! Thank you so much the entire Inspire dental team.

Recently registered with this clinic and had a check up and a clean done. I have to say all the staff have been absolutely fantastic. Lizzie on the front desk was amazing with all the kids that came in while I was waiting, knowing everyone's names and making them feel special. My appointments have been on time, and the clinical staff were so communicative and gentle, checking in regularly to make sure I was comfortable and not experiencing any anxiety or discomfort and/or needed a break. Also really appreciate the professionalism and that there was no 'hard sell' for additional services, which I have experienced in other clinics.

I am new patient at Inspire Dental Group Port Moody. I have been very impressed with the friendliness, kindness and professionalism of everyone there. From Melissa who greeted me when I walked into the office to Ian the Hygienist that performed my new patient setup taking ex-rays, digital images and pictures to Natalie the Hygienist who performed my cleaning. Every step of the way I was informed of the procedures being performed and if there was to be any discomfort. They checked a number of times to see if I was managing OK during the procedures.
I then had a consultation with Dr. Kassam to go over my ex-rays, the digital image of my teeth and gums as well as the results of the visual exam. During the consultation Dr. Kassam provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision on what "I" wanted performed based on my expectations and the related costs. This was very important to me because dental procedures can be very costly and at this point I wanted my best bang for the buck and they were very accommodating.
The staff knew that I had remaining funds on my dental plan so they made sure to get me an appointment prior to the end of the year even though they were very busy. I am very grateful for that.
My latest procedure was to repair my upper and lower front teeth. Dr. Kassam with assistance from Megan were terrific. It was great seeing them work so well together, that made me feel very at ease from the start of the procedure to the end (they even stayed late on a Friday to complete the work needed).
To me my teeth look fantastic. I could not have expected a better result and that is all due to Dr. Kassam and Megan's expertise.
I am very thankful to all at Inspire Dental.

Just had major dental work done replacing all my old crowns, bridges and the new vaneers..........I've got a million dollar smile and couldn't of had a more professional, kind and compassionate group to work with. They made it fun and easy!!

Really friendly staff and they do little things such as give you a hot towel at the end which is really nice. My hygienist is great. The only downside is it is hard to get an appointment/reschedule appointments as they are so busy!

I’ve grown up traumatized from dentists (horrible patient care and horrible dentists) and was reluctant to have to go in each visit but in all honesty I came to inspire and never have felt more comfortable - specifically Dr Chow and his help have made me comfortable even looking forward to seeing my dental team. Inspire Dental is such an amazing clinic. First, it's an absolutely beautiful facility, and they have beautiful mountain views out of all the treatment rooms. And, most importantly, the staff is excellent. They are so very helpful, they explain everything perfectly and answer all your questions. Dr. Kang is an excellent dentist, and Natalie, Karen and Ian are wonderful hygienists. I recommend anyone who needs any sort of dental care (which is everyone) to come here!

The dentist is the last place I want to spend any of my time. I have past dental trauma, a ton of anxiety at the dentist and have never been able to find someone I could trust and feel comfortable around. After finding inspire dental, Dr Kassam and Dr Chou, I feel as though I have a safe space to take care of my health, they are always understanding of my anxieties and have helped me achieve the smile I’ve always wanted. I really can’t thank them enough for their continued support and care. I travel far to come to inspire dental and I’ll gladly continue to do so knowing my family and I are receiving honest, kind, and supportive care.

Very nice first appointment! Very warm and friendly staff, they all greet you like you’re an old friend, and make you feel relaxed and comfortable!
Low pressure environment. They make sure you understand everything they’re talking about.
Great view from the bright modern office.
They use the latest in technology to get the best assessment of the state of things in your mouth.
My last dentist was very high pressure and I switched because I started to not trust them just wanting to make as much money off me as possible.
So far I get a much better vibe at Inspire!

My experience with inspire dental has been fantastic! I recently had gum surgery/skin grafting. It went so smoothly without virtually any pain. The team was awesome with all the follow up apts. Dr Kassam is the best dentist I have ever been to. Kelsey is a very cheerful assistant. Ian has done my cleanings and we almost always have some good laughs. The receptionists always make feel so welcomed. I highly recommend his office to anyone. They are all the best!!!

I went to inspire dental for my wisdom teeth removal and cleanings. The staff were all really friendly and knowledgeable and were great at adapting the procedure to my needs!
Dr. Chou was very professional and great at what he does. Extremely attentive and personable and highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist in the Port Moody area! If you feel uncomfortable with going to the dentist, you’ll feel right at home with inspire dental!!
The clinic is also beautiful and offers a beautiful view during your visit!

Just made the switch to Inspire, and I am so happy I did! The office is clean and inviting and from the receptionists to the practitioners, everyone is so friendly and kind! My initial appointment with Dr Chou and Kelsey tackled all of my concerns followed by an impressive 3D scanning of my teeth. Today, I had my first filling with Dr. Chou and Leona, and I was thoroughly impressed with how gentle and comfortable the experience was. Dr. Chou is skillful, informative, and personable! Cannot recommend them enough!
