We make paying for your dental care as painless as your visit. Inspire Dental Group accepts virtually every dental benefits plan in Canada — and with direct billing, we submit your claim for you, so you only pay the portion your plan doesn’t cover.
We Accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan
The federal CDCP helps cover dental costs for eligible Canadian residents without private dental insurance. Administered by Sun Life, it’s accepted at every Inspire Dental Group location — ask our team if you qualify and we’ll walk you through it.

How Direct Billing Works
No paperwork, no waiting for reimbursement. Here’s what happens at your visit:
Bring your benefits card
Show us your insurance card (or CDCP card) at your first visit. We’ll record your plan details and keep them on file for next time.
We submit your claim
After your treatment, we send the claim electronically to your insurer — usually while you’re still at the front desk.
Pay only your portion
Your insurer pays us directly for the covered amount. You only pay any remaining co-payment or non-covered portion.

Canada’s Biggest Dental Insurance Brands — All Accepted Here
Most Canadians with workplace benefits are covered by one of a handful of large insurers. If your card shows any of these names, you’re covered at Inspire Dental Group — and in most cases we can bill them directly.
Pacific Blue Cross
Pacific Blue Cross is British Columbia’s largest provider of health and dental benefits, covering millions of British Columbians through workplace and individual plans — including many TELUS, public-sector and small-business plans. As a BC-based not-for-profit, it’s the card we see most often at our Vancouver, Port Moody and Langley clinics.

Canada Life
Canada Life is the country’s biggest group benefits insurer, holding roughly a quarter of the Canadian market. If your employer’s plan was previously with Great-West Life or London Life, it’s now Canada Life — those three companies merged under one brand in 2020. Your existing coverage works exactly the same with us.

Sun Life
One of Canada’s oldest and largest insurers, Sun Life covers millions of employees through workplace benefits plans. Sun Life also administers the federal Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), so whether you have a Sun Life workplace plan or a CDCP card, our front desk team processes both every day.

Manulife
Manulife is one of Canada’s “Big 3” group benefits insurers, protecting millions of plan members nationwide. Plans originally issued by Maritime Life, Standard Life or Liberty Health are now part of Manulife. We submit Manulife claims electronically at the time of your appointment.

Green Shield
GreenShield (formerly Green Shield Canada) is a not-for-profit insurer that specializes in health and dental benefits rather than life insurance — which makes their dental claims processing among the fastest in the industry. GreenShield also owns ClaimSecure, another payer we bill directly.

Desjardins Financial Security is the insurance arm of Desjardins Group, the largest cooperative financial group in Canada and a top-5 group benefits insurer nationally. Many national employers and Quebec-headquartered companies insure their teams with Desjardins — and we bill them directly.
